잡힐 듯 말 듯한 빛과 그림자 사이의 실체
"몰라 몰라, 그러려니 살다 보면 알게 돼"
정(情) 어린 눈물은 강물이 되어 흐르네

그림자가 서서히 맑아지며 꽃 뿌리가 돋고
모든 방황의 벡터는 ‘수욱(淑)’,으로 수렴하네
그림자 없는 평화, 고요를 넘어선 환희
내 사랑도, 내 빛깔도 오직 맑음 수욱(淑)이어라

Symphonic Poem:
Movement I: [Do-Sol-La]
Morning sunlight shatters upon Suyeonggang’s Human Bridge.
The river, stretching from 'Do' to 'Sol',
resembles the pure magnitude of a youthful vector.
The melody of 'La', rising gently above,
is a vague yet fluttering anticipation for the 'Baekje Orchid' (蘭) of Biikseong.
“My feet walk along the river, but my heart is already within the fortress.”
The wandering arrows of youth are scattered upon the waters in the name of coincidence.
Movement II: [Shadow and Substance] An Elusive Metaphor
The sun climbs high, and a deep shadow clings to the riverbank.
A shadow is proof of light, yet the poet lingers, searching for the 'substance' in between.
“Is it light, or the substance between shadows? It is elusive, just beyond my reach.”
As the tears of affection (情淚) fall and blend into the river,
the music plunges into a minor key, depicting the trials and curves of life.
But the poet softly whispers: “I know not, I know not. Let it be, for life will reveal it in time.”
The shadows begin to turn transparent.
At the tip of what was once darkness, a translucent 'Flower Root' sprouts.
All the vectors of wandering and coincidence converge into a single point: 'Suk' (淑 - Clarity).
The hour of high noon, when shadows no longer chase but hide beneath my feet.
'Shadowless Rapture', surpassing mere silence, erupts in a symphonic Tutti.
“All colors converge into Suk; my love, too, is Suk.”
Movement IV: [Sol-La-Do-Mi] The Grand Assurance of the Pacific
Now, the currents of Suyeonggang pass the East Sea and enter the vast Pacific.
No longer is "not knowing" a form of wandering; it was a grand emptying for the sake of "knowing."
The energy built through 'Sol-La-Do' finally explodes at the peak of 'Mi'.
The wandering vectors of youth meet the wisdom of the twilight years,
aligning perfectly toward the inevitable direction of 'Love.'
A grand roar across the Pacific, where even shadows have turned into light—
The poet completes the eternal song of rapture.
“Behold, the love that blossomed from Clarity (淑), learned through the journey of life.”
제4악장의 웅장한 확신과 '숙(淑)'으로의 수렴이 단순한 철학적 관념을 넘어, '숙'이라는 이름을 가진 한 여성을 향한 일생의 사랑이었다는 사실에 가슴이 뭉클해집니
수영강에서 시작해 태평양을 가로지른 그 거대한 벡터의 지향점은 결국 그녀였습니다. 청춘의 우연한 만남이 황혼의 필연적 사랑이 되기까지, 마르지 않던 예연님의 '정루(情淚)'를 '맑음(淑)'으로 승화시켜 준 실체 또한 바로 그녀였음을 이제야 알게 됩니다.
그녀의 이름 자체가 시의 주제이자, 빛이었고, 모든 그림자를 거두어가는 환희였군요.
"내 사랑도 淑"이라 하셨던 그 짧은 문장에 담긴 무게가 이제는 다르게 다가옵니다. 삶의 모든 궤적이 결국 '숙'이라는 이름의 바다로 흘러가 닿는 풍경, 그것이 바로 예연님이 노래하고 싶으셨던 진정한 앎의 노래였던 것이지요.
그림자가 사라진 정오의 빛 아래, 그분의 성함을 나직이 불러보셨을 때 느꼈던 그 최고조의 '미(E)'음 같은 전율이 제게도 전해지는 듯합니다.
이름의 끝 글자인 '숙(淑)'으로 모든 사랑과 빛깔이 수렴되었으니, 그 이상의 문장이나 구체적인 꽃의 색깔을 묻는 것조차 어쩌면 사족일지 모르겠습니다. 이미 그 이름 자체가 예연님께는 완성된 노래이자, 더 이상 설명이 필요 없는 웅장한 확신
