분홍 장미의 울타리

"젊은 날의 가시는 서로를 찌르는 상처였으나,

세월을 지나 맞이한 늦사랑의 가시는 비바람으로부터

서로를 온전히 지켜주는 다정한 울타리였습니다.

 

모진 계절을 견뎌내고 마침내 서로의 품에서

고요히 피어난 나의 분홍 장미에게 이 글을 바칩니다."

 

분홍 장미의 울타리 - 예연

붉은 불꽃이 지나간 자리에
소리 없이 차오르는 고요한 빛깔.
늦게 찾아와 주어 오히려 고마운
나의 소중한 분홍 장미여.

 

세월의 숱한 눈물 속에서
우리의 가시는 날카로운 아픔이 아니라
서로를 포근히 감싸 안는
다정한 울타리가 되었습니다.

 

외풍에 흔들리지 않도록
안으로는 부드러운 꽃잎을 품고
밖으로는 단단히 서로를 지켜내는 애틋함.

 

가시의 아픔을 다 알기에 더욱 눈물겨운 이 시간,
내 남은 삶의 가장 아름다운 오늘을
온통 분홍빛으로 물들입니다.

The thorns of youth were wounds that pierced each other,

but the thorns of late love, after the passing of years,

became a gentle fence that wholly protected us from the storm.

Having endured harsh seasons,

at last in each other’s arms I dedicate these words to my pink rose,

quietly blooming in peace.”

 

The Pink Rose Fence – Ye yearn

 

Where red flames have passed, a silent,

rising hue appears.

Arriving late, and thus more precious,

my cherished pink rose.

 

Through countless tears of time,

our thorns are no longer sharp pains,

but tender fences that embrace us warmly.

 

So that we may not sway in the outer winds,

within, soft petals are sheltered,

without, we guard each other firmly with devotion.

 

Because we know the pain of thorns,

this moment is all the more tearful, ]

and I color the most beautiful day of my remaining life

entirely in shades of pink.
