Sorry

I've seen people hurt each other
and go their separate ways.
I've seen the teardrops in their eyes,
Their minds all in a daze.
You know they love each other
still they throw their love away.
Oh why is "sorry" such a hard word to say

I've seen brother fighting brother, holding weapons in their hands
their tired and fighting for a cause that they don't understand
But it happens all around the world
you see it everyday
Oh why is "sorry" such a hard word to say

If you can say you're sorry,
then you'll feel good inside.
Take a chance don't hesitate
throw down that silly pride
i know we'll make a difference if we try it everyday
Then maybe "sorry" won't be so hard to say

though you know your words aren't true
